ATTIRE: Well, this is kind of embarrassing. I'm in my gym clothes right now, but I can usually be caught in jeans and a tshirt and boots. I LOVE shoes and cute dresses, but winter sort of hinders that.

BIRTHPLACE: Belfast, Ireland. Someday, I'll make it back to the Emerald Isle...but I love living in Northern Arizona!

CONCERT OF A LIFETIME: I've been to about 60bazillion concerts. Music is a huge part of my life. Concert of a lifetime?? Incubus and the Marquee theatre (Tempe) in 2008. A-MA-ZING. A very close second is seeing Crystal Gayle with my granddad when I was a kid. She was great and my granddad LOVED the show. A great memory.

DOGS OR CATS: My 11 year old little girl is planning on being a vet when she grows up, so we sort of 'collect' animals at our house. We have a red-eared slider turtle named Cheese, a cat named Levon(named for the drummer for The Band, Levon Helm), a cat named Strut (she's the Stray Cat Strut, get it?), and a rescue doggy named Bellatrix LeStrange

EYE COLOR: All of my siblings and my cousins on my fathers side, have the same HUGE green eyes. They are very distincitve, if I do say so myself ;)

FAVORITE MOMENT AT THE STATION: I am very grateful to be working at KOLT country!! We had an absolute BLAST at the Julianne Hough concert, playing with the beachball with fans in line, introducing the opening act Kate and Kasey(these chicks are AWESOME!) AND seeing the great show, that little girl can entertain!

GREATEST CHILDHOOD MEMORY:oooooooooh, this one is hard. I really enjoyed hanging out with my granddad...my Grandpa Billy. He is a really great guy who kinda looks like a leprachaun...hehehehe. But, I think my greatest 'childhood' memory is making the varsity softball team my freshman year in highschool. How cool am I?! hahah.

HEALTH FREAK: No, I'm not a 'health freak' but I do try take care of myself and my family...man, do I love cookies though! I hit the gym everyday, but I'm not obsessive, I just find that its a great way to clear my head.

INSTRUMENTS I PLAY:I started playing instruments in the 5th grade. Started with the flute, moved to oboe, piccolo, trumpet, then on to french horn and sousaphone. I can still pick up any one of these and belt out a tune. Cant play a stringed instrument to save my life though!

JUST BECAUSE I CARE: Right now, I'm working on being approved to coach Little League Girls Softball. I've coached in the past and I absolutely love it. It gives me the opportunity to teach a sport that means a lot to me, and it gives me the chance to mentor GIRLS. I believe that empowering our daughters is very important in all aspects. From sports to science.

KNOW IT ALL: Nutmeg is deadly poisonous if taken intravenously.

LEISURE: Music, music, and more music..concerts, collecting, etc...camping, hiking, spending as much time as possible with my family, painting, reading and well, facebooking!

MEAL OF CHOICE: My guy is an amazing cook, and he puts things together that amaze me all the time. My favorite dish of all time though is SUSHI. I could live on spicy tuna rolls and red snapper sashimi. The more wasabi the better.

NICKNAMES:Lulu has been my nickname since I can remember. My grandparents call me Lauralei, and my friends call me Patch sometimes...Patch came from a terrible dye job I did to my hair in high school...

OTHER THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME:I am very tattooed and will continue to get tattoos for the forseeable future. I also enjoy and am very good at clog dancing....this fact usually surprises people, but its true!

PLANS AFTER RETIREMENT:I try to live as 'in the now' as possible, but I'll be honest, my plans after retirement include sunshine and the ocean. Some little beach house on the Atlantic Ocean would be absolutely ideal. Just me, my guy, our animals and fruity rum drinks with umbrellas in them!

QUANTUM PHYSICS: I have a time machine in my house, but it only goes forward, and at regular speed.

RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED: Im a righty, but my little girl is a lefty...my little south paw!

SHOE SIZE:enormous. Ma used to say I could ski on em.

THANKFUL FOR WHAT: Someone very important to me once told me to say 100 thank yous before leaving my bed in the morning. Meaning, think of 100 things you are thankful for. Its not as difficult as it sounds, and it puts me in a pretty great mood for the rest of my day. I am MOST thankful for my little monkey child, and my guy. We're a strange little family, but I wouldnt change it for the world.

ULTIMATE TELEVISION CHOICE:*gasp* I DONT HAVE TELEVISION!!! ok, now that thats out of the way, I download and watch LOST and Dexter. Thats about it....we read a LOT in our house!

VERY FIRST RADIO MEMORY:I used to tell my mom that I was either going to play pro baseball for the ATL BRAVES or I was going to be in radio...from that point forward, I would interview my friends and family on my fisher price recorder, and I would make mixed tapes for people and break in between songs and say things like "You just heard the Cure,Just Like Heaven coming up soon, Oingo Boingo!" I think I was 5.

X-RAYS: hahahahah! I have broken more bones than I can count. The most gruesome one was cutting off my second toe on my left foot when I was 7. My little brother did it. I will maintain this for the rest of my life....ps-they put it back on.

YOUR BIGGEST FEAR:balloons, clowns and dolls.I dont want to talk about it.
