Hi, I’m Andy West!

I got my start in radio in my hometown of Bend, Oregon (Go Lava Bears) back in the 80s and it’s been a great ride so far!  I’ve worked at stations from Portland to Mason City, Iowa.  I met my wife, Lori, at a radio station where I was the night DJ and she was the News Director.  We have three beautiful kids who have made us proud and a Border Collie, named Sammie.

I love and enjoy hiking with my family, yard work (yep, yard work) and exploring Northern Arizona.  Listening to distant AM radio stations is a strange hobby that I enjoy.  I’m a big fan of the NBA Portland Trailblazers!  Thank you for listening to KOLT Country!
